CCE Cultural Assessment Interpretation Dialogue

Members of the Core Leadership Team will share the findings and key recommendations of the CCE Cultural Assessment. We will engage in an interactive data interpretation process that will help to inform the design and roll out of a series of data dialogue and interpretation sessions to be hosted across the system next year. The goal of this process is to:
– Make data accessible to all ED’s in advance of dissemination to all CCE staff
– Promote greater DEIB/Antiracism ownership, influence, and accountability based on data across the CCE system
– Identify differentiated DEIB/Antiracism action steps based on programs areas and/or regions
– Create greater alignment between identified DEIB/Antiracism needs and resources
– Inform and shape CCE values, practices, policies, procedures and strategic planning relative to DEIB/Antiracism efforts

Public Health Presentation
Presenters: Adam Hughes, CCE State Extension Specialist & Cristina Dyer-Drobnack, MS, Public Policy/Program Director, NYSACHO
Location: Kelsey Room, Hilton Albany
Bio: Cristina’s primary responsibilities include maintaining an in-depth knowledge of all core public health services, including analysis of annual state budget, legislation, and proposed regulatory changes impact on public health policy, local health department funding, and operational impacts. She plays a lead role in the development, planning, direction, and supervision of education and public health leadership programs for all local health officials and LHD staff. Cristina also provides technical assistance to local health departments on state public health statutes and regulations and legislative tracking and analysis and serves as the mentor for NYSACHO’s Policy Interns. She is the lead staff person assigned to NYSACHO’s Workforce/Funding, Environmental Health, and Rural Committees and the main contact for all subject matter committees’ advocacy work. Cristina joined the NYSACHO team in 1994.
